Hamsa 'Bet · בּ' - Sand Stone Collection

בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ (בראשית א', א')

בזוהר הקדוש (חלק א', דף ב' ע"ב) נאמר שהאות ב' מסמלת בית, שהוא יסוד הקיום, והבריאה עצמה היא כמו בית שנבנה על יסודות אלוקיים.

“Bet” gets inspiration from the shape of the Hebrew letter “Bet”. On one side, it is closed, reflecting that man need not concern his/herself with the highest spiritual tradition. On the other side it is open, representing openness, advancement, a willingness to accept abundance.

“Bet” symbolizes beginnings, multiplicities, and blessings at the very first sign of light of creation - mirroring the notion of finding something from nothing.

“Bet” brings with it awareness, sensitivity, maturity, rationality, and self-discipline. It projects a feeling of homeness and supports space-creation. Aspects of tolerance and acceptance of the other are essential to this hamsa, as it encourages giving without receiving.
